Oil Pet Portrait on Canvas

Description

Your oil painting will be created using high quality paints and materials, and painted on a gallery-wrap canvas, for a ready to display finished product. Each piece will be sealed with a gloss varnish prior to shipping / pick up, to protect your artwork from dust and scratches in the years to come. When shipping, I often use recycled cardboard in an effort to stay eco-friendly, and pack carefully to ensure your artwork arrives undamaged. If you have any problems or concerns with how your package arrives, please contact me. If you live locally, you can also pick up your painting in Nanaimo, BC and avoid shipping costs altogether!

Depending on the size of your painting and my current workload, it may take between 2 weeks – 2 months to complete your order, plus shipping time. So, if you’re planning on gifting this artwork and need it done by a specific day, I recommend ordering well in advance! Another option is to order a gift certificate – that way you can skip the wait time of creating custom artwork, and allow me and the gift receiver to chat directly about what they’d like prior to me starting work on their piece.

Due to the amount of work that goes into creating each custom piece, I don’t offer refunds once your painting is complete. However, I want you to LOVE your finished work of art, and will happily discuss with you throughout the painting process any changes that need to be made. One of the benefits of ordering from an actual human being and not a large corporation (besides the fact that you’re supporting an independent artist), is the time and care I put into each interaction and each painting I create. Each portrait is a completely one-of-a-kind work of art, created for you by me. A true to life rendition of your pet, with a dash of my own artistic style.
