About the Artist

Hi! My name is Naomi Peter-Simons (but you can call me Nao), and I’m an artist and designer from Vancouver Island, BC.

I’ve been happily making art since I could first hold a pencil. Throughout my life I’ve explored many different mediums, and fallen in love with each one: whether it’s painting, photography, writing, filmmaking, or screen printing. It’s my goal to keep learning and getting better, and above all to enjoy the whole messy chaotic creative process of life.

Currently I’m working on expanding my freelance business, and looking to take on new clients for graphic design, custom artwork, and more. If you have any ideas or projects you’d like to discuss, feel free to get in touch!

Meet the Nap Cats

Primrose & Katniss are sister cats I adopted in 2015 through CatSpan, a wonderful organization that cares for feral and stray cats in Nanoose Bay and the surrounding areas. I’ve always been a crazy cat lady, so it seemed only fitting to name my business after them. You can find them most days napping in their catio or on my lap, peacefully drooling onto my laptop.
